Accused Deerfield Stalker Ruled Mentally Unfit for Trial

Lidia Kuzniar, charged in November for stalking Father Michael Pfleger, will get treatment in jail.

The Deerfield woman arrested in November for stalking Father Michael Pfleger was found unfit to stand trial today and transferred to the mental health ward in the Cook County Jail hospital, where she is being held without bond, for inpatient treatment, according to a story on CBS Chicago. Earlier: Accused Deerfield Stalker Claims She Wants to Marry Father Pfleger Lidia Kuzniar, 55, of Deerfield was originally arrested Nov. 18 at Pfleger’s St. Sabina Church in Chicago after repeated attempts to have contact with the priest, according to reports on Patch.
