Jacob Perlson, Neighbor

Jacob is 17 and is a student at Deerfield High School. He is editor-in-chief of DHS's independent satirical newspaper. Jacob is principal second violinist in two orchestras and is on the swim team. Alongside writing, music, and swimming, Jacob is passionate about the outdoors and medicine. 

His ultimate career goal is to be a doctor, but loves writing and hopes to pursue it on a freelance basis. Jacob plans to write on the issues at the core of being a high school student.
