Construction Blocks Some Deerbrook Access

Construction of the entire median barrier will begin Thursday which will impact turns previously possible across the roadway.

For those wishing to gain access to Deerbrook from the east, they may turn left on Waukegan Road and enter that way. They can also continue west past the mall, turn into Deerpark Plaza and work their way into Deerbrook.

The building of the median is part of the final design of the Lake Cook Road construction project and will permanently limit left turn on both sides of Lake Cook Road in some areas, according to the email.
