Deerfield Drivers Mostly Obedient in Crosswalks

Deerfield drivers appear more obedient than those in Lake Forest and Highland Park.

State law requires drivers to stop as soon as a pedestrian enters a crosswalk and for the most part Derrfield drivers obey.

Patch waited 30 minutes at the intersection of Waukegan and Deerfield Roads today and found only one disobedient driver in that span.

Earlier today, seven people broke that law in a minute in Highland Park while four did the same in Lake Forest.
