Boil Order Continues, Whole Foods Orders More Bottled Water

Merchants make effort to help community.

As Deerfield nears the first 24 hours of its boil order initial testing of the Village's water supply continues.

Meanwhile, residents are still being asked to bring water to a boil, boil it for a minute and let it cool before using it or use bottled water.

As of noon, Whole Foods still has bottled water and will be receiving an emergency shipment from its distribution center, according to team leader Dan Gordon.

"We have called our distribution center and they are sending an emergency supply of bottled water," Gordon said. "The produce we have is fresh from the farm and has not been effected by the town's water supply." Prepared food is being made offsite outside Deerfield.
